WOVEN FIBREGLASS CLOTH

“BHARAT BRAND” Fiberglass cloth in Unvarnished stage is manufactured with ‘E’ Grade Fiberglass Yarn (alkali free) of various twist and ply construction. The cloth is available in plain, satin and twill weave as per requirements. The cloth in Unvarnished Stage is available in different densities and is compatible with Epoxy, Polyester and vinyle resins.

The cloth is free from heirs ‘Desized’ and is available after ‘Silicone Treatment’ for manufacturing of laminates and PTEF Cloth. The various physical and chemical properties are as below (Specification IS: 5746 Part I BS: 3396 Part I & II):

1. Alkali content of Yarn:- Not more than 1%of alkali calculated as Sodium Oxide.
2. Construction:- Plain, Satin or twill weave with selvedged ends in open or close weave.
3. Width:- Available normally in 900 mm or 1000 mm width or as per customer’s requirement.
4. Thickness:- Generally available in 0.08 (3mil), 0.14(5mil) 0.18mm (7mil) 0.25mm (10mil) or above thickness.
5. Density:- Linear density of 11x1x2 to 22x2x3 tex in difference picks. Available in nominal weight 7 g/m.Sq.to 442g/m.Sq.
6. Tensile:- 14 N/mm width to 50 N/mm width.
7. Heat Resistance:- Can be used upto 200-260 Deg C in stressed or flexing conditions.
8. Fire Resistance:- Fabrics are incombustible in these conditions.
9. Resistance to Chemicals:- Fabrics are resistant to organic chemical solutions, assets and alkalis and unaffected in insects and vermin. Do not observe moisture nor dis-integrate in chemical composition.
10. Availability:- Std. rolls in 900mm or 1000 mm width in continuous length of 100 Mtr. or above.
