“BHARAT BRAND” VARNISHED INSULATING SLEEVING (TYPES -100, 130-T & 180-T)

“BHARAT BRAND” varnished insulating sleevings are braided either from silk yarn or ‘E’ grade glass Fibre yarn multiple impregnated with synthetic resin varnished. The varnishes used are of flexible and heat resisting type, made from high grade material.
Applications
“BHARAT BRAND” varnished insulating sleevings are used in winding of Motors, Transformers, Reactors Coils, Electrical Equipment for traction and for Radio & Electric Equipment Manufacturing. These are particularly useful where good electrical properties are required along with high mechanical and thermal stresses.
Dimensions & Form of supply
“BHARAT BRAND” varnished insulating sleevings are supplied in lengths of 1 meter in bundles of 100 metres. each nominal inside diameters available (mm)- 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, .5, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 25mm to 50mm.
Tolerance for inside diameter (mm) = + 0.2 to 0.5
Tolerance for wall thickness (mm) = + 0.25
Normal colour of the varnished sleeves is pale-golden yellow; other colours are available on request.
Typical Properties of Fibre Glass Varnished Sleevings
The mechanical and electrical properties of “BHARAT BRAND” varnished insulation sleevings conform to those specified in BSS: 2848(CLASS-1/13O T); IS 11654 (Part III) and DIN 40620 measured as per VED 0530 and VDE 00550.
